More Than a Launch!

On 11 August 2026, government leaders, teachers, parents and partners gathered at Humbaro Primary School to officially launch MsingiTek in the Ruvuma Region.

The event brought together more than 70 representatives from across the region and participating districts, with the Regional Administrative Secretary of Ruvuma, Hon. Advocate Mary Makondo, serving as Guest of Honor.

One photograph from the day captures what the launch was really about: our Guest of Honor alongside one of the children MsingiTek is here to serve. It is a powerful image—a leader, a learner and the promise that connects them.

A regional launch is partly a celebration. But it is also something more important: a public commitment.

By gathering in a school, alongside the teachers and children at the heart of the program, leaders from across the education system signaled their shared commitment to making MsingiTek work—not only on launch day, but in classrooms every week.

MsingiTek gives children dedicated time to build foundational literacy and numeracy skills at their own pace. But technology alone does not create lasting change. That requires teachers who bring the program to life, district and regional leaders who champion it, and partners like ourselves who help build and embed the systems and capacity for MsingiTek to thrive in schools long after we step back.

The launch marked the beginning of that shared work in Ruvuma: helping MsingiTek take root in schools and opening new possibilities for almost 10,000 children across 100 schools.
