Jenny is at her best (and happiest!) when she gets to spend time to sit down, simplify the complex, dive into data, find the critical path, and help the team turn good ideas into real impact – something that she tries to influence in how Tanza approaches systems, strategy, and implementation across all of our work.

Erika cares deeply about bringing out the best in people and building teams that perform with trust, care, and accountability. Across education, health, and agriculture, she has consistently helped frontline teams grow into stronger, more confident operators, and at Tanza, she brings that same people-first leadership into our field lab every day.

Alice is a lawyer by trade with a strong background in compliance, government engagement, and strategic partnerships, combined with a grounded understanding of field operations. She has a rare ability to bridge policy with the realities of implementation, helping partnerships move from ideas into action within government systems.

Sofia completed Charity Entrepreneurship’s nonprofit incubation program before going on to found and grow a structured pedagogy organization in Uganda. She now brings that first-hand experience to leading the design of Tanza’s Accelerator—bringing together expert perspectives, practical experience, and fresh thinking to build an exceptional accelerator for the next generation of implementation leaders.

Joseph brings experience in program implementation, adult behavior change, and field team capacity building. Through his work in Ruvuma, he stays close to the realities of implementation—learning what works, identifying what gets in the way, and helping Tanza turn those field insights into stronger ways of working.

Jonas is a thoughtful and deeply people-oriented leader who brings intentionality into how teams are managed, supported, and developed. Through his leadership in Morogoro, he constantly reflects on what helps teams perform well in practice, generating valuable lessons not only for his region, but for how Tanza builds strong implementation cultures overall.

Salama brings extensive experience from large, highly structured organizations with strong finance, administration, and operational systems. She adds rigor, discipline, and functional expertise into our entrepreneurial environment—helping Tanza build the strong operational backbone needed to scale responsibly and effectively.
